Ter Dolen is a Belgian brewery, housed in a 16th-century castle in Houthalen-Helchteren. The rebrand draws inspiration from the rich heraldry of the medieval castle and reinterpretes it through a modern lens. The result is a modern-traditional identity that stays true to Ter Dolen’s history while appealing to today’s beer lovers.

Little Waves is an alternative indoor music festival, presented by C-mine Genk & Absolutely Free Festival, taking place on the 19&20th of april at C-mine, Genk. For the festival's 10th jubilee edition, new life was breathed into their identity.

Design

While the original logo was retained to preserve brand recognition, the packaging system was completely reimagined. A new range of labels introduces character and distinction across the lineup, reviving medieval motifs through geometric patterns, a crest-like mark, and refined typography. The result is a timeless yet modern identity refresh that honours the castle’s legacy while feeling distinctly of today.
