Visual identity for Komboo, a freshly launched craft-brewed alcoholic kombucha that salutes the raw nature of fermentation. The idea was to create an identity that honours the product and its brewing process, while making it standout visually. Being the first alcoholic kombucha on the Belgian market, Komboo aims for a new segment and positions itself modestly yet confident as a small-scale player.

Little Waves is an alternative indoor music festival, presented by C-mine Genk & Absolutely Free Festival, taking place on the 19&20th of april at C-mine, Genk. For the festival's 10th jubilee edition, new life was breathed into their identity.

Design

The identity reflects the raw nature of fermentation with a hand-drawn wordmark and features an illustration that serves as an ode to the key ingredient and the engine of the brewing process; the scoby. A mix of handwritten type and pastel colors adds to the DYI feel, reinforcing its small-scale, crafted character. An identity that feels raw and unfiltered yet at the same time full of life.
